Democrats in 44 Idaho counties meet today to voice their preference for president. Unlike Idaho Republicans, who weigh in on their presidential candidates during the May primary, Democrats rely on the caucus system.

Caucuses begin across the Panhandle at 7:30 p.m. at the following sites:

Benewah County: county courthouse, St. Maries;

Bonner County: county courthouse, Sandpoint;

Boundary County: courthouse annex, Bonners Ferry;

Kootenai County: Harding Family Center, Coeur d’Alene;

Shoshone County: Wallace jail.
