Jeanne (Mast) Stine Colfax, Wash.
Memorial service for Jeanne M. (Mast) Stine, 61, will be at 11 a.m. today at Colfax United Methodist Church. Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Spokane, Mrs. Stine died Friday.
Her family moved to Colfax, where she graduated from high school in 1956 and then began working at the Colfax telephone office.
In 1957 she married Don Stine and they traveled while he served in the military. They moved to Moses Lake after his discharge from the service, and then moved to Pullman.
In 1963 she returned to Colfax.
Mrs. Stine worked with her husband at Don’s Refrigeration for 16 years, and at Washington State University for nine years. She had been employed with the Council on Aging for the past 12 years.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, David and Brian Stine, both of Colfax, and Mike Stine of Red Lodge, Mont.; a daughter, Connie Blaser of Kenmore, Wash.; two brothers, Bill Mast of Warden, Wash., and Fred Mast of Great Mills, Md.; a sister, Georgia Teal of Colfax; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Floyd Sander Prosser, Wash.
Graveside service for Floyd Duane Sander, 73, will be at 1 p.m. today at Spokane Memorial Gardens. Meyer Funeral Home in Prosser is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sander, who was born in Trenton, Neb., died Friday.
After the 10th-grade, His family moved to Spokane and he graduated from North Central High School in 1944.
Mr. Sanders enlisted in the Navy after graduation.
He married Doris Tullis in January 1946 and was discharged from the Navy in June of that year.
He returned to Spokane and worked for McKessons and Robbins Wholesale Drug for 40 years. He retired in 1986 and spent six months of the year in Apache Junction, Ariz.
Mr. Sander recently moved to Prosser.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union and the International Order of Odd Fellows. He was also a member of the Back Country Horsemen of Washington and Arizona. He led the John Wayne Trail Ride twice and participated in the Washington State Centennial Ride.
His wife died in 1984.
Survivors include two daughters, Patty Hayes of Prosser and Jackie Rothwell of Tacoma; a brother, Eldon Sander; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Marlene Wright Dalton Gardens, Idaho
Service for Marlene June Wright, 68, will be at 11 a.m. today at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wright, who was born in Coeur d’Alene, died Feb. 29 in Las Vegas while on vacation.
She grew up and attended schools in Coeur d’Alene, Spokane, and Kellogg, and married Duane Wright in 1948.
Mrs. Wright lived in the Coeur d’Alene area and worked as a secretary at Coeur d’Alene High School for many years. She also was employed at the Forest Service Nursery and North Idaho College bookstore.
She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church where she was a volunteer and attended Bible study classes.
Mrs. Wright was a pianist and vocalist and was involved with the Spokane Symphonic Chorale and Coeur d’Alene Community Concerts for many years.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry Wright of St. Maries and Steven Wright of Seattle; a sister, Karen Munn of Santa Cruz, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Domenick Celano Spokane
Visitation for Domenick Celano, 87, will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Hazel and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. Service is planned for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Celano, who was born in New Haven, Conn., died Friday.
He was a 24-year Spokane resident and worked as a janitor for Walt’s Mailing Service. He retired in August.
His wife, Velma, died in 1993.
Survivors include a son, Joe Celano of Woodbury, Mass.; a daughter, Carol Webber of New Haven; and a brother, Harry Celano of New Haven.
Harry `Ed’ Grimmer Spokane
Memorial service for Harry “Ed” Grimmer, a lifetime Spokane resident, was Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church.
Mr. Grimmer, 87, died Thursday.
He graduated in 1930 from North Central High School.
Mr. Grimmer co-owned and managed Grimmer Transfer Co. for 50 years. He retired in 1982.
He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and helped organize the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Spokane in 1957.
His wife of 62 years, Eunice, died in 1992.
Survivors include a son, Carl Grimmer of Houston; a daughter, Shirley Wells of Spokane; a sister, Janice Steen of Spokane; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Daniel Marcella Spokane
Funeral Mass for Daniel R. Marcella, 96, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Otis Orchards. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Bridgeport, Conn., Mr. Marcella died Friday.
Mr. Marcella was a carpenter in the construction industry and lived in Spokane for 20 years.
His wife, Grace, died in 1995.
Survivors include eight daughters, Vivian Amodio, Arlene Lucas and Frances Garcia, all of Spokane, Alice Killeen of Elk, Betty Harris and Rosemary Miller, both of Sacramento, Calif., and Mary Diorio and Lillian Grosso, both of Torrington, Conn.; three sons, Mario Marcella of Spokane, Richard Marcella of Post Falls and Daniel Marcella of Torrington; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charles Samuels Sr. Wellpinit, Wash.

Mr. Samuels, who was born in Ford, died Friday.
He moved to Spokane when he was 18 and worked as a carpenter and plumber.
He moved to Wellpinit in 1972 and was a member of the Spokane Tribe of Indians.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Candi; seven sons, Leonard, Ricardo and Charles Samuels Jr., all of Spokane, Ronald Samuels of Wellpinit, Todd Samuels of Ford, Benjamin Samuels of Nespelem, Wash., and Alexander Samuels of Omak, Wash.; six daughters, Daphnee Samuels of Spokane, Desiree Samuels of Wellpinit, Charlene Samuels of Nespelem, Clarisa and Christine Samuels, both of Worley, Idaho, and Linda Cumpton of Everett; a stepson, Brian Gingras of Chewelah, Wash.; a brother, Henry Samuels of Ford; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Edna Green Spokane
Private service will be held for Edna R. Green at a later date. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Green, who was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, died Thursday. She was 91.
Mrs. Green worked in the cosmetics department of The Crescent department store and was a 50-year Spokane resident.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Smith of Spokane; a sister, Betty Harper of Burnaby, British Columbia; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Naomi (Wynne) Reigel Battle Ground, Wash.
Graveside service for Naomi (Wynne) Reigel, a former Spokane resident, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel in Vancouver, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Reigel, 93, died Thursday. She was born in Cottage Grove, Ore.
She was a Spokane resident for more than 50 years and taught piano lessons from her home for 25 years.
Mrs. Reigel was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters in Spokane.
She moved to Battle Ground in 1997.
Her husband, Cecil, died in 1972.
Survivors include a son, Larry Reigel of Battle Ground; and three grandchildren.
Edwin Richardson Spokane
Graveside service for Edwin S. Richardson, 64, will be at 1 p.m. today at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Walla Walla, Mr. Richardson died Wednesday.
His family moved to Spokane when he was an infant.
He graduated from West Valley High School.
Mr. Richardson served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957 and from 1958 to 1962.
He was a security officer for Apex and Burns security companies.
His wife, Vinita, died in 1991.
Survivors include his companion, Joyce Tremain of Spokane; a brother, George Richardson of Wenatchee; and three sisters, Inez Shaw of Medical Lake and Joy Geibel and Mary Goddard, both of Spokane.

Garland Eaton Spokane
Memorial service for Garland W. Eaton, 76, is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Eaton died Friday. He was born in Midland, Ind.
He served in the Army during World War II and was stationed at Baxter General Hospital in Spokane, and in Europe.
In 1943 he married Geraldine Scher in Spokane.
Mr. Eaton worked at Washington Water Power for 41 years and retired in 1987 as assistant superintendent of line crews.
He served as an officer of the Washington Water Power Credit Union and was a member of the Elks and Eagles lodges.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Eaton of Denver; a brother, Robert Eaton of Indianapolis; four sisters, Virginia Buckheister, Donnetta Cracraft and Rebah Eaton, all of Indianapolis, and Mary Lou Penfield of Denver; and two granddaughters.
Robert Martin Spokane
No service will be held for Robert M. Martin, 80. Private burial will be at Pines Cemetery. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Martin, a 55-year Spokane resident died Wednesday. He was born in Flint, Mich.
He entered in the Army in 1939 and served in the 19th Infantry Regiment until 1941, and then served as the desk sergeant for the military police in Spokane until 1945.
In 1944 he married Doris Potratz.
Mr. Martin farmed on the family farm in Fairfield until 1971. He later managed Two Swabbie’s Hardware Store until 1979. He then worked as a real estate agent until 1983.
Mr. Martin was a member of the National 24th Infantry Division Association.
His wife died in 1964.
Survivors include a son, Richard Martin of Post Falls; two sisters, Viola Hiller of Corunna, Mich., and Beverly Tipton of Ypsilanti, Mich.; a brother, Elmer Martin of Richmond, Va.; and three grandchildren.
Margaret Knudson Spokane
No service will be held for Margaret M. Knudson, 95, at her request. Private burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Knudson, an 86-year Spokane resident, died Friday. She was born in Seattle.
During World War II she worked at the Spokane Army Air Corps Base.
She later worked as a sales clerk for The Crescent, the Palace and Kemp and Hebert department stores.
Her husband of 54 years, Alfred, died in 1977.
Survivors include two daughters, Mina Riley of Spokane and Beverley Morgan of Reedsport, Ore.; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Jerry Bart Spokane
Service for Jerry R. Bart, 70, was Sunday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Burial was at Pines Cemetery.
Mr. Bart died Thursday. He was born in Sedro Wooley, Wash., and lived in Spokane for 48 years.
He helped found the Sonderen Paper Box Co. in 1964 with Al Sonderen. Mr. Bart retired after 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; two sons, Jerry Bart of Olympia and Terry Bart of Jackson, Wyo.; a daughter, Annie Tuell of Spokane; two stepsons, Bob and Randy Braun; two brothers, Robert Bart of Seattle and Marvin Bart of Boring, Ore.; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
