Hoopfest Makes Call For Entries

Hoopfest is more than three months away, but it’s not too early to start recruiting teammates, work on your jump shot and think of a crazy team name.

Entry forms for the June 24-25 event are now available at Subway stores throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho and at Tidyman’s in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Lewiston, Moscow, Post Falls, and Missoula and Kalispell, Mont.

Online registration is available at Hoopfest’s new Web site, www.spokanehoopfest.net and there is room for more teams than in past tournaments. But space is limited and entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are encouraged to register before May 15 to secure a spot.

Those interested in serving as volunteers should telephone (509) 624-2414 or check the website.
