Neighborhood Meetings

The Riverside Neighborhood Council will hold its annual meeting March 20 at the Downtown Library, Room 3-B, from 5 to 7 p.m.

During the meeting, the council is expected to elect new officers, set goals for the year, discuss issues concerning the neighborhood, and vote on proposed bylaws for a nonprofit corporation.

The East Central Neighborhood Council has postponed its regularly scheduled March meeting from Tuesday to March 28 at the East Central Community Center.

State highway officials will give an update on planning for a north Spokane freeway and its interchange with Interstate 90.

Also, architect Glen Cloninger will talk about his plans for a commercial expansion on the east side of Freya across from Tapio Office Center.

The Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Heights Congregational Church, 29th and Freya.
