Mayor-Povich Astoria, N.Y.

Wedding vows were exchanged by Anna E. Povich and Pablo E. Mayor in a June 5 ceremony at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Spokane.

Michael and Sandra Povich, Spokane, are parents of the bride. Mayor is the son of Pedro Pablo Mayor, Bogota, Columbia, and Orpha Dominguez, Cali, Columbia.

A reception was at Cataldo Hall at Gonzaga University. The couple are living in Astoria after a honeymoon in Seattle and the Oregon Coast.

A graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in flute performance, the bride is a musician and teacher. She is also a graduate student at State University of New York at Stony Brook. The groom also is a graduate of the University of North Texas and received a master’s degree in jazz studies. He is a self-employed musician, composer and teacher.
