Forever Grand Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas, was the setting for the Jan. 8 wedding of Carol Gerkensmeyer and Michael Schmedding.

The bride is the daughter of Harold and Georgia Olson, Spokane, and the late Ted Gerkensmeyer. The bridegroom is the son of Brenda and Larry Schmedding, Spokane.

A reception was at the MGM Grand Resort. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Carmel, Calif.

The bride is a hairstylist and the groom is a logger.
