Peanut farmers did the testing on Wednesday when — to celebrate March’s desingation as National Peanut Month — they served lawmakers celery with peanut butter and raisins, chocolate-covered peanuts, peanut-butter candies mixed with jelly beans, and various peanut butter sandwiches - crunchy or creamy, with jam, and on bread, toast or crackers.
