Drivers traveling Interstate 90 through Spokane this week should expect delays and congestion, particularly after evening rush hour.

Today and Wednesday, crews will be setting girders for the new Park Road bridge during evening and night hours. The work requires closure of the freeway for up to 15 minutes several times each night.

Also, while the work is under way, east- and westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction near Park.

Wednesday through Sunday, drivers should expect one lane closed eastbound between Sprague and Havana.

Throughout the week, there may be intermittent westbound lane closures near Sprague.
