WSU Plans Commencement Rites

Approximately 2,800 undergraduates are expected to take part in commencement ceremonies here today.

Graduation events begin at 8 a.m. in the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum, where state Attorney General Christine Gregoire is slated to give the featured commencement address. Kenneth Alhadeff, a WSU regent, business leader and philanthropist, will address the 11:30 a.m. ceremony for the College of Business and Economics and the College of Education. WSU graduate and former astronaut John Fabian speaks at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the colleges of engineering and architecture, pharmacy, agriculture and home economics, sciences, nursing and veterinary medicine. The Pullman ceremonies may be accessed through the WSU Web site, www.wsu.edu or watched on Cable 8 on Pullman’s cable television system.
