Bureau Warns Of Stereo Scam

The Better Business Bureau is alerting consumers about a stereo scam in Spokane.

People have been calling the BBB to report that people are selling faulty or poor quality speaker systems out of the back of unmarked vans. The vans have shown up in neighborhoods, trade shows and convention centers.

When a person purchases the speakers, the advertisement on the box and the contents inside do not match. There is a lower-grade product inside, according to the BBB.

The companies deal only in cash, give no warranty and no receipts.
