Why running: “I felt I was not being represented by (outgoing Rep. Jeff Alltus). I felt he was only representing a minority of the party.”

Issues: A staunch fiscal conservative, Gerrard will approach every issue on a cost benefit basis … is conservative on social issues but they are not the priority … wants to improve U.S. Highway 95 to become a business corridor.
