Colleges Offer Classes For Seniors

Registration is now under way for summer classes at the Seniors Program of the Community Colleges of Spokane.

The classes are available for all seniors age 55 and older. The cost varies from $5 to $30 per class, and some scholarships are available.

Class topics include art, communications, computers, genealogy and fitness. Classes are held at various locations in Spokane, including several senior activity centers.

People are advised to register early, as there must be a minimum of 15 people signed up for each class or it will be dropped from the schedule.

Those planning to attend are asked to register at least one week before the scheduled start of a class.
