Ewu’S Digital Gallery Accepting Exhibit Proposals
The Digital Gallery of Art at Eastern Washington University is accepting proposals for one-person exhibitions during the 2000-2001 academic year.
All works must be originally designed on the computer but can be created in any two-dimensional medium, such as works on paper, collage or photographic prints.

Boston cultural tour
Gonzaga University’s Jundt Art Museum is offering a seven-day tour of Boston’s cultural and historical sites.
The tour runs Sept. 11-17 and is limited to 30 people. The price is $2,345 per person for double occupancy and $2,945 for single, which includes airfare, transportation to and from the airport in Boston, hotel, all tours and entrance fees, and five special lunches.
A nonrefundable deposit of $500 is due June 1, with the balance due July 21. (The deposit will be refunded if the tour is canceled.) For more information and reservation forms, contact the museum at 323-6611.
Online art gallery
Kestrel Creek Gallery in Moscow, Idaho, has launched an online gallery at www.kestrelcreek.com.
The growth of Internet commerce inspired artists Will Simpson, Ben Carpenter and Jim Christiansen to market their turned wood art objects through the Web site. Visitors can view a rotating selection of more than two dozen works.
Artists sought
VSA arts of Washington’s “No Boundaries Art Exhibit” is holding an open competition for Northwest artists with disabilities to share their talents in a traveling exhibition.
The competition is open to residents of Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Alaska. Media eligible for consideration include painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, photography and mixed media. All works must be original, produced within the last three years and completed since acquiring disability. Spokane photographer Gay Waldman received one of four Judge’s Awards for her work “October Sky” at the fifth annual In Focus Juried Photography Exhibition at the Lewis-Clark Center for Arts and History in Lewiston. The exhibition runs through June 16.
