Memorial Day Masses Planned

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Spokane will host Memorial Day Masses on Monday at the area Catholic cemeteries.

Bishop William Skylstad will preside over a Memorial Day Mass Monday at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall. The Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Refreshments will follow.

A Mass celebrated by the Rev.

James Mangan begins at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Cemetery, 17825 E. Trent. People are asked to bring their own chairs (if needed).

Refreshments will be served following Mass.

The service will move to St. Joseph Catholic Church at 4521 N. Arden Road in case of rain.
