Vaughn and Winnie Murphy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 4 with a dinner at Clinkerdagger’s Restaurant.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Casey and Aimee Murphy, Dennis and Kathy Murphy, and Scott and Julie VanHees, all of Spokane.

The Murphys were married Nov. 3, 1950, in Rosalia, Wash. They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
