Schools: Public schools closed.

Banks: Open today.

Mail: Delivered today. Only express mail will be delivered Saturday.

Government offices: County, state and federal offices closed today. City offices will be open.

Libraries: City and county libraries will be open today and Saturday, except the downtown branch, which will be closed Saturday.

Parking meters: Must be fed today and Saturday.

Buses: Regular schedules.

Garbage: City and county pickup on regular schedule.

Local journalism is essential.
