Dick and Lucille Shane celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 4 with an open house at their home.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Russ and Fran Shane, Kirk and Patti Mosher and John and Mary Shane, all of Spokane; and Bob and Phyliss Shane, Pebble Beach, Calif.

The Shanes were married Nov. 3, 1950, in Spokane. They have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
