Aimee Halyk and Falin Schaefer combined for 20 kills and 15 digs to help Montana State (13-3, 3-2) sweep Eastern Washington 15-2, 15-6, 15-13 Thursday in Bozeman, Mont., in a Big Sky Conference volleyball match that lasted just 1 hour and 12 minutes.

Eastern’s Eagles (6-8, 3-4) finished with a negative hitting percentage in dropping their third consecutive match.

EWU’s Janelle Ruen had eight kills and eight digs.

Daniela Lanza finished with a .429 hitting percentage and 10 kills, and College of Southern Idaho (37-4, 5-1) beat North Idaho 15-2, 15-7, 15-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference match in Twin Falls.
