Absentee Voting Available Until Nov.6
Absentee voting is now available at Post Falls City Hall, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Nov. 6.
People can register and file their absentee vote at the same time. In order to file an absentee ballot, residents must be 18 years old and have proof of Kootenai County residence. Picture identification, a driver’s license, a utility bill or other mail with the resident’s name and address are all examples of proof of residency.
Other absentee voting locations include the Kootenai County Elections office, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and most city hall offices in Kootenai County.
On Nov. 7, people must vote at their designated polling places. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
