Attended Medical Lake High School; GED from Olympic College in Seattle; now studying legal administration at Spokane Falls Community College under Department of Veterans Affairs vocational rehabilitation program.

Political history

Mayor of Chewelah since January 1998; previously ran unsuccessfully for Chewelah City Council and mayor of Republic.

Wants to improve teamwork among Legislature, local and tribal governments.
