Daugert-Jacobsen Bellingham

Alice Vivian Jacobsen exchanged wedding vows with Stanley Matthew Daugert in an Aug. 27 ceremony at Duncan Gardens in Spokane’s Manito Park.

The bride is the daughter of the late Alvin and Marsha Jacobsen. The bridegroom is the son of the late Lawerence and Elizabeth Daugert, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

A reception was held at the home of Ken and Sherry Kerr, Spokane. A reception was also held in Bellingham in late September for the groom’s family and friends. The couple are living in Bellingham and will honeymoon in Hawaii.

The bride, a graduate of Eastern Washington University, is a retired social worker of Division of Children and Family Services. The groom received bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from Columbia University and is a professor emeritus of philosophy at Western Washington University.
