Ethel McCaw Harrison, Idaho
Visitation for Ethel M. McCaw, 71, will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Service is planned for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene. A reception will follow at the Silver Lake Motel in Coeur d’Alene.
Mrs. McCaw, who was born in Montana, died Friday.
She spent her early years in Yakima, and then moved to North Idaho. She worked in a nursing home in St. Maries.
Mrs. McCaw married her first husband at age 16. They later divorced.
In 1959 she married Donald McCaw. They lived in California for a short time before returning to the Harrison area.
She had worked as a logger in the timber industry and was also a musician and homemaker.
Mrs. McCaw was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and the Lady JayCees and enjoyed gardening, canning, pinochle, playing the guitar and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Delvin Shaw of Coeur d’Alene; two daughters, Linda Smith and Connie Hazelton, both of Hayden Lake, Idaho; a brother, Troy Stiner of Coeur d’Alene; two sisters, Onabelle Litzenberger of Coeur d’Alene and Rosalie Dyer of Cataldo, Idaho; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

George Hargrave Spokane
Visitation for George A. Hargrave, 86, will be from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pines Cemetery.
Mr. Hargrave, who was born in Lancaster, Wash., died Saturday.
He farmed in Ewan, Wash., until moving to Spokane in 1950.
Mr. Hargrave worked in the warehouse at Roundup Grocery for 25 years. He retired in 1976.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rebel; two daughters, Donna Hargrave of Spokane and Sharon Hargrave-Ahern of Opportunity; two sons, Michael Shay of Seattle and Terry Hargrave of Atascadero, Calif.; a brother, Donald Hargrave of Post Falls; a sister, Dorothy Hargrave of Spokane; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Marion `Dick’ Feistner Colfax, Wash.
Visitation for Marion Richard “Dick” Feistner, 66, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax. Service is planned for 11 a.m. Thursday at Colfax Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at the Colfax Cemetery.
Mr. Feistner, who died Sunday, was born in Kimball, Neb.
He served in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954.
Mr. Feistner moved to Colfax in 1954. He worked for several farmers in Whitman County. He also worked as a custodian for Endicott schools, Pullman Post Office and at the Chevron station in Endicott.
Survivors include a son, John Feistner of Colfax; and three brothers, Landis Feistner of San Bernadino, Calif., Dale Feistner of Joshua Tree, Calif., and Robert Feistner of Fairbanks, Alaska.

Helen Mollendorf Federal Way, Wash.
Memorial service for Helen I. Mollendorf, 89, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Spokane. Bonney-Watson Funeral Home in Federal Way is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Sanders, Idaho, Mrs. Mollendorf died Oct. 15.
She was a former longtime Spokane resident and a homemaker.
Mrs. Mollendorf moved to Federal Way in May.
Her husband of 44 years, Alvin, died in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Ray Renz of Federal Way; a sister, Irma Mercer of Othello, Wash.; three granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.

Terrell Anable Coeur d’Alene
No service will be held for Terrell Anable, 81, at her request. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Anable, who was born in North Carolina, died Oct. 16.
She was a homemaker and moved to the Coeur d’Alene area several years ago. Recently she was a resident of LaCrosse Health and Rehabilitation in Coeur d’Alene.
Mrs. Anable was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Anable of Ravensdale, Wash., and Anthony Anable; and a daughter, Joy Todd of California.
Elinor Shannon Spokane
No service will be held for Elinor “Ellie” Shannon, 79, at her request. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shannon, who was born in Eureka, Mont., died Friday.
She and her husband, James, moved to Spirit Lake, Idaho, in 1980.
Mrs. Shannon was a five-year Spokane resident and a homemaker.
Her husband of 20 years died in 1988.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Cerenzia of Renton, Wash.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Thomas Wood Cortez, Colo.
Funeral Mass for Thomas I. “Tom” Wood, 82, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Pius Roman Catholic Church in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spokane. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wood, who was born in Salmon, Idaho, died Friday.
He received a bachelor of science degree in pharmaceuticals from Idaho State University. In 1938 he married Helen Downey.
They later moved to Spokane and he worked as a pharmacist for Pay Less Drug Stores for more than 40 years, retiring in 1982.
He and his wife traveled after his retirement. His wife died in 1990.
In 1991 he married Arene Kern. They lived in North Idaho during the summer and spent winters in Mesa, Ariz. They moved to Cortez in 1999.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Diane Middlebrook Dejarassi and Michole Goldman, both of California, and Colleen Dae of Spokane; a stepdaughter, Mary Hughes of Cortez; a stepson, James Kern of McCall, Idaho; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one stepgrandchild and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Roy Wable Spokane
Memorial service for Roy Wable, 68, was Monday at Spokane Christian Center.
Mr. Wable, who died Thursday, was born in Confluence, Pa.
He served as a civil engineer in the Air Force for 21 years and served during the Vietnam War. He retired in 1972 Mr. Wable moved to Spokane in 1972 and continued to worked as a civil engineer as a civilian at Fairchild Air Force Base.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Beverly; two daughters, Pamela Peterson of Spokane and Michelle Wable; five sons, Tim and Daryn Hill, and Harland Wable, all of Spokane, Kevin Hill of Phoenix and Terry Hill of Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, William Wable; and nine grandchildren.

Peter Halpin Spokane
Vigil service for Peter P. Halpin, 77, will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Hennessey Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A 53-year Spokane resident, Mr. Halpin died Friday. He was born in Lewistown, Mont.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and the Korean War.
Mr. Halpin worked as a line dispatcher for Washington Water Power for 39 years.
He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and the Washington Water Power Trailblazers.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patricia; four sons, David, Raymond, Tim and Chris Halpin, all of Spokane; a sister, Flavia Whitaker of Spokane; nine grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Einar Holmblad Coeur d’Alene
Service for Einar Helge Holmblad, 88, was Monday at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Funeral Home.
Born in Sweden, Mr. Holmblad died Thursday.
He moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1918 with his parents. He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Holmblad returned to the Coeur d’Alene area after his military service and worked for the Potlatch lumber mill for more than 40 years before retiring.
He was a member of the Coeur d’Alene Eagles Lodge for more than 60 years.
His wife, Evelyn, died in 1991.
Survivors include a son, Ed Holmblad of Spokane; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Evelyn (Fisher) Conner Spokane
Service for Evelyn Merle (Fisher) Conner was Monday at Sunset Mausoleum at Fairmount Memorial Park.
A 79-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Conner, 80, died Friday. She was born in Kootenai, Idaho.
She married Carl Conner in 1941.
Mrs. Conner was the secretary/treasurer for W.C. Conner, an excavating company.
Her husband died in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Dale Conner of Diamond Lake, Wash.; a daughter, Carol Neumann of Seattle; two sisters, Rose Fisher and Margaret Jenks, both of Spokane; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Wanda Lower Spokane
Memorial service for Wanda Lower, 82, was Monday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home.
Born in Nutley, N.J., Mrs. Lower died Thursday.
She was a 50-year Spokane resident and worked as a meat cutter for Armour & Co.
Her husband of 25 years, H.D., died in 1978.
Survivors include a son, James Strassburger of Westport, Wash.; a daughter, Virginia Abraham of Spokane; a half-brother, Edward Kasey of Richland; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
