Two Men Facing Assault Charges

Two men were arrested on charges of assaulting a man in the Spokane Valley on Sunday morning, a Spokane Sheriff’s Office official reported.

Nathan M. Houston, 20, of 218 N. Mamer, and Robert W. Isakson, 21, of 510 S. Leta, were arrested on felony assault charges in the beating of a 39-year-old male in the 14700 block of East Sprague, the Sheriff’s Office said.

A witness contacted police and followed the suspects to a bar where he asked to see their IDs, which they showed him. Deputies used that information to contact the suspects, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The victim, who was found unconscious by deputies, was treated and released from a local hospital.
