Where: By streamsides and in moist meadows.

Summary: Each of the many minute flowers actually have five petals. Note the steeple-like shape of the flower clusters distinguishing Steeplebush from Pink Spirea wherein the flowers are in elongated clusters close to the stem. Steeplebush is also known as Hardhack.

Available at local book and garden stores or the Museum of North Idaho in Coeur d’Alene.
