Predicted order of finish: 1, Touchet. 2, Colton. 3, LaCrosse-Washtucna. 4, Lind Kahlotus. 5, Prescott. 6, Rosalia. 7, Jubilee Christian.

1999 standings: 1, Touchet (6-0, 12-0, state champion). 2, Colton (5-1, 8-3). 3, L-W (4-2, 7-2). 4, Kahlotus (3-3, 4-5). 5, Jubilee Christian (2-4, 5-4). 6, Prescott (1-5, 1-8). 7, Rosalia (0-6, 0-8).

New coaches: Kent Mosbrucker, Lind-Kahlotus; Ron Clemens, Jubilee Christian.

Returning all-league players: Tim Wagoner (Touchet) RB-LB.

Look back: Touchet out-scored Inchelium 51-46, Colton 52-38 and Neah Bay 42-36 in winning the Ducks’ fourth state title.

Outlook: Touchet returns one starter, but Wagoner is a good one and the remaining Ducks had plenty of opportunities to get their feet wet last year.
