‘Gladiator’ Will Be Fox’S Last Show

After screening feature films for 69 years, Spokane’s Fox Theater will offer its “last picture show” on Thursday. “Gladiator” will be the final movie shown at the venerable downtown art-deco theater, which is being bought by the Spokane Symphony. The symphony plans to restore and upgrade the building for use as a performance hall.

The film will show Thursday at 7 p.m.; admission is $2.50. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and members of the Fox Theater Project Team will be on hand to answer questions about the symphony’s plans.
