Mpm Technologies Streamlines

From Staff Reports

MPM Technologies Inc. on Tuesday announced a restructuring that consolidates the financial and adminis- trative functions of its subsidiaries in Parsippany, N.J.

The corporate accounting, legal and investor relations functions will remain in Spokane.

Spokesman Bob Little said management expects the consolidation to trim $1.2 million from annual operating expenses.

The subsidiaries involved are Huntington Environmental Systems Inc. of Schaumburg, Ill., and AirPol Inc., based in Parsippany. Both design, build and install air pollution control systems.

Little said six employees were cut during the process.

MPM has also launched a new subsidiary, EPC services Corp., that will provide fabrication, mechanical and installation services to Huntington and AirPol.

The company will own 80 percent of EPC, the rest will be owned by MPM President Joeseph Kilraine and Robert Treisteman, who has held senior positions with Kellogg Co. and Bateman Engineering.
