Mary Kent Spokane
Visitation for Mary E. Kent, 90, will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Service is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery.
An 80-year Spokane resident, Miss Kent died Thursday. She was born in Eskridge, Kan.
She graduated in 1927 from West Valley High School and then from Cheney Normal School.
Miss Kent taught elementary school for 28 years in Spokane area schools. She also taught in the Seattle area for a short time.
She was a charter member of Millwood Presbyterian Church.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Miss Kent is survived by two nieces, JoAnne Smead and Jean Kent, both of Spokane.
Donnie Capoeman Airway Heights
Memorial service for Donnie James Capoeman, 20, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Community Church in Chewelah, Wash. Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Chewelah is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Chewelah, Mr. Capoeman died Dec. 18.
He graduated from Jenkins High School in 1999.
Mr. Capoeman worked as a driver and unloaded trucks for TWC Systems in Medical Lake.
He recently moved to Airway Heights from Chewelah.
Survivors include his parents, Jennifer Capoeman of Chewelah and Emmanuel Capoeman of Taholah, Wash.; two sisters, Candice and Cassie Capoeman, both of Chewelah; and his grandparents, Pat and Janet Warwick of Springdale, Wash.
Patrick Kyllo Jr. Spokane
Memorial service for Patrick B. Kyllo Jr., 51, was Saturday at the Kettle Falls (Wash.) Middle School.
Mr. Kyllo, who was born in Colville, Wash., died Tuesday.
He graduated in 1967 from Kettle Falls High School.
Mr. Kyllo served in the Navy as a shipfitter for 17 years. He later served in the Army National Guard until 1996.
He had lived in Kettle Falls and Yakima before moving to Spokane six years ago.
Mr. Kyllo was working as a truck driver for Mumma Trucking in Spokane.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Colville and Kettle Falls.
Survivors include his former wife, Sandra Taylor; five daughters, Kathleen Lakin of Kettle Falls, Jeanna Hastings, Michelle Hegney and Tricia Stewart, all of Colville, and Tammy Stewart of Spokane; a son, Patrick Stewart of Oak Harbor, Wash.; his mother, Clara Kyllo of Tacoma, Wash.; three brothers, Mike Kyllo of Northport, Wash., Bill Kyllo of Tacoma and Joe Kyllo of Hawaii; a sister, Bea Durbin of Colville; and seven grandchildren.
Dorothy (Hoskins) Cooper Colville, Wash.
Service for Dorothy H. (Hoskins) Cooper, 98, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville. Burial will follow at Mountain View Park Cemetery in Colville.
Mrs. Cooper, who was born in Decatur, Ill., died Friday.
She married Grant Cooper in 1920. They lived in Pueblo, Colo., until moving to Spokane in 1938. They later returned to Colorado and then moved to Cedonia, Wash., in 1945.
Mrs. Cooper and her husband farmed in Cedonia and operated a painting contractor service.
Her husband died in 1989.
She moved to Colville a few years ago.
Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Greenwood Grange and the Greenwood Chattermaids.
Survivors include two daughters, Leota Holter of Colville and Wilma Anderson of Gifford, Wash.; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Dorthy (Nelson) Canoy , Spokane
Visitation for Dorthy Ann (Nelson) Canoy, 53, will be from 8 to 11 a.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home. Service is planned for 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
A 13-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Canoy died Thursday. She was born in Richland.
In 1966 she graduated from Columbia High School.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Troy Canoy of Spokane, Chad Canoy of Post Falls and Todd Canoy of Richland; three daughters, Jennifer Ferguson of Spokane, Marie York of Cheney and Pat Peterson of Rosalia, Wash.; her parents, Lyman and Martha Nelson, and two brothers, Charles and Jim Nelson, all of Richland; and 10 grandchildren.

Antoinette `Toni’ Burnett Prichard, Idaho
A memorial service for Antoinette “Toni” Marie Burnett, 57, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gloria’s Steak House in Prichard. Shoshone Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burnett, who died Thursday, was born San Jose, Calif.
She moved to North Idaho in 1988 from Davenport, Wash.
She was a hairdresser and owned and operated day care centers in California and Davenport. She also worked for Intel Co. in San Jose and worked at Gloria’s Steak House in Prichard.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Duran of Ritzville, Wash., and Patrick Duran of Prichard; her twin brother, Anthony Cisneroz Jr., and a sister, Irene Hair, both of San Jose.

Edna (Christensen) Stenersen Spokane
Visitation for Edna Mae (Christensen) Stenersen, 83, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Graveside service is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Riverview Retirement Community.
Mrs. Stenersen, who was born in Fresno, Calif., died Thursday.
In 1940 she married Sigvald Stenersen and they settled in Spokane. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Mrs. Stenersen was a resident of Riverview Retirement Community.
Her husband died in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Dave Stenersen of Spokane and Stan Stenersen of Federal Way, Wash.; a daughter, Norma Larson of Port Orchard, Wash.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Alice (Robinson) Greene Spokane
Memorial service for Alice M. (Robinson) Greene, 82, was Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home.
Born in Evanston, Ill., Mrs. Greene died Wednesday.
Her family moved to Spokane when she was nine.
Before she married William Greene in 1941 she worked in the advertising department at The Spokesman-Review. She then became a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Alpha Chi Omega sorority and the P.E.O.
Survivors include her husband; a son, James Greene of Missoula; a daughter, Laurel Shelton of Port Townsend, Wash.; and five granddaughters.

Gaylord Hughes Spokane
Memorial service for Gaylord E. Hughes, 87, was Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Hughes, who was born in Lime Springs, Iowa, died Wednesday.
He lived in Ronald, Wash., where he worked in the coal mines. In 1957 he moved to Spokane.
Mr. Hughes worked in delivery for Pacific Fruit and retired at the age of 65. He then worked for Dandy’s Drive-Inn for seven years.
His wife of 42 years, Elva, died in 1982.
Survivors include two daughters, Gayle Bruketta of Spokane and Laurie Stapleton of Coeur d’Alene; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Robert Franklin Chattaroy
Memorial service for Robert B. Franklin, 59, was Sunday at the home of his sister Irene Olin.
Mr. Franklin, who died Dec. 23, was born in Tacoma, Wash.
He was a 59-year Spokane area resident and was an auto detailer.
Survivors include a son, John Franklin; three brothers, Lionel, Jeff and Kirk Franklin; and a sister, Irene Olin.
