Sixth Street Melodrama in Wallace – “Bloodline, or … Hanged in their Own Family Tree,” opens Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at 212 Sixth St. Show runs Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and on Sundays at 2 p.m. until Aug. 29. Tickets and information: 1-877-SIXTHST.

The Downtown Coeur d’Alene Concert Series – Nothin’ Serious will perform jazz, blues and 30s hits Thursday from 6-8:30 p.m. at Sherman Square Park, 314 Sherman Ave. Information: 667-3162.

Fresh Aire Concert Series – Jazz Co-op will perform Thursday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in East City park, Third and Hayes in Moscow. Information: 883-7036.

Post Falls Library Courtyard Concert Series – Begins Thursday with the Latino group Milonga from 7-9 p.m. The library is located at 821 N. Spokane St. Information: 773-1506.

Summer Sounds at Park Place – Sweet Persuasion will perform from noon – 2 p.m. Saturday in the park located at 330 North First in Sandpoint.

The premiere of “Benji Returns Off the Leash” – Saturday at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint at 7 p.m. Producer Joe Camp and Benji will be present. $10 general admission. This is a benefit for the Panhandle Animal Shelter. Information: 263-9191. The premier also will be shown at the Bonner’s Ferry American Legion hall. Tickets for this event are $45 per person or $100 for four. Showtime at noon. A regular showing will be at the Rex Theater at 2pm, $10 per person

The Taste of the Coeur d’Alenes, Downtown Street Fair and Art on the Green – All three events end today. The Taste will have approximately 25 food booths, the downtown street fair will feature local arts and crafts, and Art on The Green held on the North Idaho College Campus is a juried art show. Blood Drive at the University of Idaho – Wednesday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Commons Clearwater room. Donors need to bring photo ID or Red Cross donor card. Information: 885-6489.

Free Sports Physicals – Thursday from noon-4:30 p.m. at Kootenai Medical Center’s Post Falls Health Park, 1300 E. Mullen in Post Falls. Interested middle and high school athletes are invited on a first-come, first-serve basis. Must bring a parent or guardian, immunization record, and dress in athletic shorts, t-shirt or sports bra. Clark Fork Valley Quilters Show – Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Hope Memorial Community Center, Highway 200 in Hope. More than 100 quilts on display plus a bake sale.
