Mary (Herrick) Pugh

Mary Francis Elizabeth (Herrick) Pugh is celebrating her 100th birthday today. She was born Aug. 2, 1904, in Alpha, Idaho.

She married childhood friend, Vernon Conyers, on May 3, 1924. He is deceased.

Mrs. Pugh has one daughter, the late Betty Rew; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She worked as a hostess at Geiger Field during World War II.

Mrs. Pugh loves to care for her flower garden, sew and play with her great-grandchildren.

Her most memorable moment in the last 100 years is of growing up on her family’s ranch, Herrick Ranch, in Long Valley, Idaho.
