John and Lorna Larson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 26 with a reception at the Train Depot, Ione, Wash.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Craig and Becky Larson, and Rick and Kim Larson, all of Ione; Pete and Rhonda Valdon, Winnemucca, Nev.; and Andy and Claudia Anderson, Metaline Falls.

The couple were married July 18, 1954, in Spokane. They have 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
