Local REALTORS® to air spots during Olympics

The Spokane Association of REALTORS®

Beginning Aug. 13, a series of 30-second spots will be run on KHQ-TV with the theme of REALTORS® giving back to the community by aiding local nonprofit organizations through donations and personal service toward making the community a better place to live.

The “Give Back to the Community” theme is more than decades old, but for the first time the Spokane Association of REALTORS® will promote the generous community service of its members via 69 30-second spots aired during the 17 days of live coverage of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

From Aug. 13-29, the REALTORS® message will be carried on the television and seen by a 92-percent reach (households) with a total frequency of seven times each.

In addition, there will be 11 billboards that call attention to upcoming information such as “Tonight’s Olympic coverage is brought to you in part by the Spokane Association of REALTORS®.”

The Olympics is the most-watched event on TV. No other event on TV has the power of the Olympics on NBC. It tops major viewing events such as the World Series, Super Bowl, NCAA Basketball Championship, and the Emmys, Grammys and Academy Awards shows.
