Hannah Vahlstrom exchanged wedding vows with Benjamin McDonald in a June 5 ceremony at Whitworth Presbyterian Church, Spokane.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Sherry Vahlstrom, Spokane. The groom is the son of Paul and Amy McDonald, Wapato, Wash.

A reception at the wedding site followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Nashville after a honeymoon on Kauai, Hawaii.

The bride, a graduate of Whitworth College, is a child life specialist and a substitute teacher. The groom is also a graduate of Whitworth College and is a student at Vanderbilt University seeking a doctorate in physics.
