Spokane Alliance for Medical Research Sleep Research Director – Dr. Gregory Belenky has recently joined the Spokane Alliance for Medical Research as director of the sleep research initiative and as a research professor at Washington State University. Sleep Research Lectures – Washington State University presents two lectures about sleep research on Aug. 19 and 20 in Pullman and Spokane. “Individual differences in cognitive deficits from sleep loss” will meet Aug. 19, 4-6 p.m. at the Wegner G1 building in Pullman. “On performance impairment from sleep deprivation and sleep restriction” meets on Aug. 20, 10-11 a.m. at the Health Sciences Building, room 110B, 310 N. Second Annual Parkinson’s Parade of Parks – Parkinson’s Regional Center of Spokane is hosting this fund-raising walk through Manito Park on Sept. 11.
