Timberlake Fire Station 1 hosts free picnic – The Athol station will hold event to thank district residents for supporting a levy to purchase new fire-fighting equipment, today, 5-8 p.m. Information: 683-3394.

Lake City Playhouse – Discount season tickets are on sale now for the 2004-05 season. By one season ticket through the month of August and receive the second one at half price. Auditions are ongoing for all productions as well. Saturdays in the Selkirks – hiking series concludes Saturday at Beehive Lakes Trail No. 279. Hike is 4.4 miles one-way to Upper Beehive Lake and is rated difficult. Second annual Blanchard Scramble Golf Tournament – Saturday at 2 p.m., Stoneridge Golf and Recreational Community. Fee: $45 per player includes greens fees, cart, range balls and a barbecue meal. Idaho Peace Officers Memorial “Fallen Heroes Cruise” – Saturday in Post Falls. Check-in/registration at 7:30 a.m. Cruise begins at 9.
