Lake City Playhouse – Discount season tickets are on sale now for the 2004-05 season. By one season ticket through the month of August and receive the second one at half price. Auditions are ongoing for all productions as well. Saturdays in the Selkirks – hiking series concludes at Beehive Lakes Trail No. 279. Hike is 4.4 miles one-way to Upper Beehive Lake and is rated difficult. Takes four to six hours to complete. Meet at Samuels Service Center, 13 miles north of Sandpoint on U.S. Highway 95. Information: 263-3573.
Second annual Blanchard Scramble Golf Tournament – 2 p.m., Stoneridge Golf and Recreational Community. Fee: $45 per player includes greens fees, cart, range balls and a barbecue meal. Celebrate Life Fun Run/Walk – begins at 9 a.m., at the north end of the Long Bridge in Sandpoint. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at Dog Beach. Cost: $12 for ages 6-16, $20 for those 17 and older. Under 5 participate free. Participants receive a T-shirt.
