Community events
Unity Church of Truth, 2900 S. Bernard St., is inviting the community to join in an unusual rummage sale today.
“Sacred Rubble: Unloaded” is a project to raise awareness about giving and receiving, living a more simple and uncluttered life, and letting go of material objects to create more space so God’s spirit can bring greater good.
To participate, bring an object you no longer want or use to the church between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Donated items will also be available to everyone for the taking at no cost.
Crosswalk, SpokAnimal C.A.R.E. and Second Harvest Food Bank also will be present, accepting cash donations.
For more information, call 838-6518.
