“Building Pathways” Free Workshop – Two workshops available on Sept. 18, 9 a.m.-noon and 12:30-3:30 p.m., in the outdoor center of The Green Zone, 210/222 N. Havana. Workshop will give hands-on help to create a walkway, path or driveway without the use of concrete or asphalt, therefore allowing precipitation to percolate through the soil to minimize runoff and save water. Family Identification Plan – Presented by COPS Northwest, offers IDs for all children and other family members at risk. ID packets are available at COPS Northwest on the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will receive a computer disk copy of their photo and a fingerprint card.
