“A Christmas Carol” Continues at the Lake City Playhouse, 1320 E. Garden Ave. This is a one-act family play adapted from the Charles Dickens novel. Additional performance Sunday and Thursday-Dec. 12 and Dec. 16-19. Show times are 7 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. for the Sunday matinee. $14 adults, $12 students and seniors and $8 for children. Clark Fork Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Clark Fork Methodist Fellowship Hall on Second Avenue. Homemade soup and pie lunch for $3.50.

Rathdrum kicks off the holidays Chili feed and visits with Santa from 3-5:30 p.m. at the Rathdrum Lion’s Club on Highway 53, followed by caroling and lighting of Christmas trees in Rathdrum City Park from 5:30-7 p.m. Lighted rig parade leaves the park at 7 p.m. and goes back to the Lion’s Club. Sponsored by the Rathdrum Chamber of Commerce and Parks and Recreation.

Bayview, Athol and Belmont Women’s Club Christmas Bazaar – Noon-6 p.m. at the Bayview Community Center. Lasagna, salad, French bread and beverage for $5 for adults, $2.50 children 7 and under. Theme baskets and two handmade quilts will be raffled. Proceeds benefit ABC Food Bank, NIC scholarships, Hospice of North Idaho, Girls State scholarship, and the Athol and Timberlake elementary libraries. Information: 683-8060.

“Festival of the Spirit” Today’s events include the children’s film, “The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship,” at 11 a.m. (admission is $1 for all), “Chac, The Rain God,” film at 1 p.m., “Kundun,” a film on the Dalai Lama at 3 and at 7:30 a concert by the Monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery. $5 for the films, $10 for the concert. “Festival of the Spirit” Sunday’s events include the film “Baraka,” at 3 p.m., a panel discussion: Spiritual Search in Our Time,” at 5 and “Ram Dass: Fierce Grace,” film with discussion by director Mickey Lemle at 7:30. All films are $5. Information: 263-9191.

Auditions for “Jesus Christ Superstar” Monday through Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Harding Family Center, 411 N. 15th St. This is a Lake City Playhouse production, and will be directed by Noel Barbuto.
