Explorers selling Christmas trees

The Spokesman-Review

The youth of the Drama and the Arts Explorer post will be selling Christmas trees to raise money for their upcoming trip to Europe. The trees are not manicured and came from a tree thinning project near Sandpoint.

The trees will be sold at Wellesley and Harvard from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Sizes vary and prices range from $5 to $20. Christmas swags will also be available for $15.

The Explorer post program is designed to expose youth to future career paths. Students in the Drama and the Arts post take a trip to visit museums in Europe every year. All the funds raised Saturday will be used for next year’s trip.
