Ryan Gallia made up for lost time Thursday.

After sitting out Lakeland’s non-league loss to Priest River because of a one-game suspension, Gallia pumped in a season-high 33 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds to lead the Hawks to a 67-46 Inland Empire League victory over visiting Lake City.

Gallia hit 10 of 21 shots form the field and drilled 5 of 10 shots from beyond the 3-point arc.

The Hawks ran off an 8-0 run in the third quarter that put them up 46-24.

Moscow 41, Pullman 31: The Bears took a 16-4 lead after one quarter at home and never looked back in a non-leaguer against the Greyhounds. Jake Lefors scored 13 points to lead Moscow, with Brad Herrenbruck and John Mosman each pulling down seven rebounds.

Girls basketball

Lake City 47, Lakeland 43: The visiting Timberwolves held off a fourth-quarter rally to earn a win over the Hawks in an IEL game at Rathdrum. The Timberwolves, 4-0 in league play, got 17 points from sophomore Richelle Fenenbock, who added six steals. Lake City shot 17 of 34 from the field. … Wallace 57, Lakeside-Plummer 41: Lisa Carver tossed in 13 points at Plummer, with Shala Wild adding 12 and Cara Hayman 10, to lead the Miners. … Post Falls 33, Newport 31: The Trojans held off a 14-7 Newport rally in the fourth quarter at Post Falls. Kandice McArthur’s nine points led Post Falls.
