Santa’s Elves – For ages 5-12; this class is an opportunity to be a toymaker for a day. Activities include making string puppets, catch-it cones and “gak,” from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Corbin Art Center, 507 W. Seventh Ave. The cost is $21. For information or to register, call 625-6200.

Anger Management Class – For ages 12-17. Class also will focus on self-esteem and conflict resolution. Contact Patrick Donahue, 979-7076, for more information.

Before- and After-school Programs – Educational and fun programs are available at the Northeast Youth Center, 4001 N. Cook. Transportation to and from some local elementary schools is available and state pay is accepted. Includes a USDA approved snack. Camp Fire USA – Clubs forming for children between the ages of 3-grade 12. Call the Camp Fire USA Service Center for more information, 747-6191.

Paws for Reading – Practice reading aloud to Kaile the reading dog, Mondays through February, 4:30 p.m. at the East Side Library, 524 S. Stone. Call 444-5377 for more information.
