“A Christmas Carol” – The one-act play onstage today at the Lake City Playhouse, 1320 E. Holiday Better Book Sale – Today and Sunday at the Plaza Shops during regular business hours, presented by Friends of the Coeur d’Alene Public Library. Previously read hardback and soft cover books in like-new condition will be available to purchase.

Wild Game Feast – Tickets are on sale now for North Idaho College Alumni Association’s Wild Game Feast, Jan. 15 at the Coeur d’Alene Inn, 414 W. Appleway. Tickets are $50 and proceeds benefit the association and scholarships. Information: 769-7806.

Holiday Light Show – continues through Jan. 3. More than a million and a half lights are on display and are best viewed from a Fantasy Cruise to the North Pole. The 40-minute cruises depart at 4:30, 5:15, 6, 6:45, 7:30, 8:15, 9 and 9:45 p.m. from the Third Street Marina. $11.75 adults, free for ages 10 and under. Information: 765-4000.

Specialized Needs Recreation Camp Allstars Winter Break Day Camp – Camp begins Monday and continues through Dec. 31 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The cost is $10 a day, and some scholarships are available.
