Readers love Little Deuce
Readers of spokane7.com and Handle Extra have named the winner of The Spokesman-Review’s Moose on the Loose contest winner.
Readers chose their favorite of the 26 Fiberglas moose statues on display in the Coeur d’Alene area as part of a fund-raiser for the EXCEL Foundation.
The winning moose is Little Deuce Moose by local artist David Clemons. The Little Deuce Moose came in first with 84 votes, while the second-runner up, Monarch Moose by Michael Horswill, had 57 votes.
To see the final results, go to www.spokane7.com/arts/moose and click on poll results. Also cruise the online gallery to enjoy the 26 moose or locate them so you can appreciate them in person. The moose will be on public display until Sept. 25, when they will be auctioned off to raise money for Coeur d’Alene School District programs.
