Babysitting Basics – This program is for to 10- to 15-year-olds interested in babysitting. Group meets Wednesday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Valley Hospital Health Education Center, 12606 E. Mission. Camp Fun in the Sun – This camp for children with diabetes is accepting registration forms now. Offered by the Community Health Education and Resources office, this camp for children in grades 1-6 will be July 25-29; and for children in grades 7-12 Aug. 1-7 at Twinlow Camp in Twin Lakes, Idaho. The cost per camper, grades 1-6 is $275; grades 7-12 is $325. Scholarships are available. For more information, call the CHER office at 232-8142.

Bereavement Support Groups – Hospice of Spokane offers various support groups. Spouse Grief, Wednesdays, 1:15-2:15 p.m., for those who have lost a spouse through death. General Grief, Mondays, 6-7 p.m., for those who have lost anyone through death. Life After Loss group, call for information and registration.
