‘Arsenic’ at Deer Park theater

Park Summer Theatre, a new live theater in Deer Park, kicks off its first season with a pair of productions opening over the next week at the Deer Park Fair building.

The classic comedy “Arsenic and Old Lace” opens Friday and continues July 23 and 29 and Aug. 6. Curtain is at 8 p.m.; the July 29 performance is a dinner theater offered by the Deer Park Golf Course, with dinner at 6 p.m. and the show at 8.

The theater also presents the premiere of the musical “The Unwilling Hero,” opening July 22 and continuing July 24 and 30-31 and Aug. 7 and 12-14. The July 22 and Aug. 12 performances also are dinner theater.

Tickets for regular shows are $8 for adults, $5 for ages 12 and under; dinner theater tickets are $20. For reservations call (509) 991-6759.
