Horse Clinic to benefit A-Stride Ahead – Demonstration given by Steve Rother, Horsemanship Clinician, Sunday, 3 p.m. at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center. Bats of Turnbull Presentation – Tuesday, 8 p.m. in the Environmental Education Center at the Turnbull Wildlife Refuge Headquarters, Cheney. Presented by Sandy Rancourt, wildlife biologist and bat expert, with a bat walk to follow which includes a demonstration of special sound detectors and identification and examination of living bats. Bring insect repellant or wear long sleeves and pants, a sweater or jacket and a flashlight. Children must be accompanied by their parents.
