Cubs 10, Phillies 7: At Chicago, Aramis Ramirez hit three home runs and the Cubs rallied to beat Philadelphia, sending the slumping Phillies to their fifth straight loss.

Astros at Reds, suspended, rain: A third rain delay resulted in a suspended game in the sixth inning between Houston and Cincinnati. The game will resume today with the score tied at 2 and two Astros on base in the top of the sixth. The regularly scheduled game for today will then follow.

Braves 3, Mets 1: At Atlanta, Marcus Giles had three hits and drove in the go-ahead run, leading Mike Hampton and the Braves past New York.

Expos 9, Marlins 0: At Miami, Livan Hernandez pitched a three-hitter and Brad Wilkerson and Nick Johnson homered to help Montreal spoil Josh Beckett’s third return from the disabled list with a win over Florida.

Brewers 5, Pirates 0: At Milwaukee, Doug Davis allowed four hits in seven innings to lead the Brewers to a victory over Pittsburgh.

Rockies 4, Diamondbacks 1: At Denver, Randy Johnson allowed four runs and struck out six in what may have been his last start for Arizona, and Colorado beat the Diamondbacks for the second time in less than a week.

Dodgers 12, Padres 3: At San Diego, Milton Bradley homered twice and Jeff Weaver pitched eight innings of four-hit ball to lead Los Angeles to a win over the Padres. The Dodgers took a 3 1/2 -game lead over San Diego in the West.

Cardinals 7, Giants 4: At San Francisco, Barry Bonds hit his 685th homer, but Jim Edmonds had a two-run triple during the St. Louis’ six-run sixth inning in a victory over the Giants.
