Sailboat Dedication – 10 a.m. at the Sunspot on the beach at North Idaho College. Two 14-foot Hobie Cat sailboats dedicated to NIC’s Outdoor Pursuits by the Kohli family in memory of NIC alumnus Ken Kohli will be dedicated. Program on famed author at University of Idaho – Yiddish author Isaac Bashevis Singer will be celebrated Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. in the UI library. The event is open to the public.

Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission – Garfield Bay water and sewer district is seeking a conditional use permit for a public utility complex facility to allow for the expansion of the existing sewage disposal system. The meeting will be held Thursday at 8:15 p.m. in Courtroom No. Four of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First, Sandpoint. At 6 p.m. they will discuss a zone change request for a conditional use permit for a commercial/private retreat for children with disabilities requested by George and Elizabeth McKinnon.
