If you still haven’t made the trip across the mountains to see a concert at White River Amphitheatre, south of Seattle, now might be a good time to start making travel plans.

On Saturday, the 20,000-seat outdoor venue celebrates its first anniversary by offering all lawn tickets for $20 (including Ticketmaster convenience charges; Ticketmaster handling fees still apply).

$20 a pop is a steal for shows like Ozzfest on July 27 (listed at $45). It’s not such a big deal for Lollapalooza on July 14-15 ($16.25) and Alanis Morissette and Barenaked Ladies on July 25 ($21.25). All tickets available through Ticketmaster (509-735-0500 or www.ticketmaster.com).

Harry, Hootie, Metal and rock

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for a Harry Connick Jr. concert at the Spokane Opera House on July 31 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $36, $49.50 and $59.50, through TicketsWest (325-SEAT or www.ticketswest.com).

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for a Hootie and the Blowfish concert with special guest John Eddy at the Big Easy Concert House on July 26. Tickets are $26.50, through TicketsWest.

Metal Boyz will be at the Big Easy Concert House on July 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10, through TicketsWest, and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Deep Purple, Joe Satriani, and Thin Lizzy will be at the White River Amphitheatre on Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Special guests

Mindy Smith has announced Garrison Starr will join her at the Big Easy Concert House on June 24 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale through TicketsWest.

The Dave Matthews Band and Jason Mraz have announced Jem will join them at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 3-5). Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.
